Good Dolly Miss Molly dolls, bears, hares and critters are all unique, warm and wonderfully tactile, whenever I do a craft fayre I always have a "please feel free to touch" sign next to my dolls. Human beings NEED touch, there are various scientific studies to demonstrate this, but this is not a science / psychology site and you came here to look at dolls so I won't talk about them, you'll just have to believe me. 

So I've had a look around and I would like to place an order, what next?

Fab! you won't be disappointed. To get started first choose the TYPE of doll you would like, choose from a Traditional Rag Doll, *VEGAN* Waldorf Doll, Waldorf Baby, Baby Bunting, Pixie Doll or Dumpling Doll. Decide the colour scheme, hair colour and skin tone and complete the options list or alternatively let the lovely Miss Molly choose for you if you select "Surprise Me". Add it to your cart and pay securely at the checkout. We can offer a layaway / pay by instalments option, just contact us for details.

If you would like a Very Special Doll, follow the steps above and use the Contact Us page to specify the personalisation that you require, if you would like a sensory tactile doll with different textures, added buttons beads and ribbons, just let us know and we will do the rest.

If you would like a Memory Doll, follow the above steps but select "I Would Like To Use My Own Fabrics" in the Clothing Colour Theme box, we will then contact you to arrange for you to send us the fabrics you would like used for your dolls clothes.

If you would like a Bear, Hare or Critter, choose your colour schemes and place your order.

At Good Dolly Miss Molly, we want you to be delighted with your purchase, all our dolls, bears, hares and critters are made to last and will become treasured heirlooms so you are very welcome to contact us to discuss your requirements before placing an order.

All our dolls are handmade to order for you by Ali, under the watchful eye of Miss Molly, and we will make your doll as quickly as we can, if you need your doll for a particular date (birthday, Christmas, wedding, christening etc) let us know when placing your order so that we can do everything possible to ensure it is there on time. We send your dolls tracked and insured so you can order your unique one - off item with complete confidence.

FUN FACT - DID YOU KNOW?   Mamas have been lovingly making dolls for their children for ever ........ the doll below is thought to be the oldest rag doll ever found. It was found in a Roman childs grave and is dated somewhere between the 1st and 5th Century. It is around 7 1/2 inches long and now lives in the British Museum.

FUN FACT - DID YOU KNOW?  This is Bangwell Putt (hmmm not sure why), she is the oldest known doll in USA, we know her name and that she was handmade for Miss Clarissa Field of Massachusetts by one of her relatives in 1770. Maybe a Good Dolly Miss Molly doll will be found in a few hundred years?

FUN FACT - DID YOU KNOW? Koumpounophobia is the fear of buttons. Another great love at Good Dolly Miss Molly HQ is ..... buttons. definitely no koumpounophobia around here thank goodness! I blame my mother, she had a button tin and I wasn't allowed to play with it, now I have my own and I can play with the buttons whenever I like. If you look carefully at the photo above of my button tin, you may see that I also make my own buttons, there are a couple of Dorset Buttons I made and an embroidered "I (heart) Mrs Moo" button. I have a separate tin full of beads and charms. Have a go at making your own buttons, its super easy and very satisfying, then just keep them in your button tin and admire often.

This is Bow Wow, he is the oldest cuddly here, I've had him since I was a baby (obviously not that long ago) I used to twiddle his fur and he became battered and threadbare and I thought I had ruined him ....... until I read "The Velveteen Rabbit" .............
